Before you book
A Few Useful Things to Know
How much does a drone roof survey cost in London?
Our drone roof surveys in London start from £189+VAT. We aim to keep our pricing simple, fair and affordable, with the final cost depending on the size, complexity and location of the property. We also offer cost-effective rates for larger commercial portfolios and repeat surveys.
What affects the final price?
The size and complexity of the roof and its location. Where the property sits in restricted airspace, a small permission fee may apply. We’ll always confirm the total before you book.
Are drone roof surveys cheaper than traditional roof inspections?
Yes. Drone roof surveys can be considerably more affordable than inspections requiring scaffolding or specialist access equipment. By capturing detailed imagery from the air, we can inspect areas that would otherwise be difficult or expensive to access, without the need for someone to go onto the roof or risk causing damage during an inspection.
A drone survey doesn’t replace every aspect of a physical inspection, but for many properties it provides a simple, cost-effective way to quickly understand the roof’s condition and plan maintenance.
Do you offer volume pricing for commercial roof surveys?
Yes. Having completed drone roof surveys across thousands of London properties, we’re experienced in delivering surveys efficiently at scale. We offer lower per-property rates for larger programmes and repeat work, with pricing tailored to the number, location and complexity of the buildings.
Is there a charge for flying in restricted airspace?
Yes, a small fee covers the cost of the permission in restricted airspace. We arrange the permission for you and include the fee in the price we confirm before you book.
Is a written report included in the price?
No. Every survey includes detailed 4K video and still images, provided through a simple link to view, download and share. Written reports are optional and charged separately, from an experienced roofing contractor or a chartered surveyor. See Reports and Professional Advice.
Do your prices include VAT?
No, all our prices are shown plus VAT.
Do I need to be there?
Usually not. We can generally operate from the street, so there is normally no need for you to be there.
How quickly can you arrange a survey?
We can arrange surveys quickly, subject to weather, location and any required flight permissions. If you are working to a particular deadline or the problem is urgent, tell us when you enquire and we’ll do our best to work around it. Once the survey is complete, you’ll usually receive your footage within 24 hours.
