A Clearer View of the Problem
If you’ve found a leak, noticed damage or are concerned about part of the roof, a drone survey can provide detailed views of areas that are difficult to inspect from the ground.

One of our skilled, CAA-qualified pilots captures the relevant areas in close detail while also surveying the wider roof, giving you useful evidence before deciding what needs to happen next.
No scaffolding simply to get a view, and no need for someone to risk damaging the roof by walking across it just to inspect it.
The Value of a Clear View
“I have had fantastic service, the video was amazing and it even identified some additional issues we didn’t even know we had with our solar panel wires. So the survey has paid for itself a few times over!”
Tell us what you’ve noticed
Start With Where You’ve Seen the Problem
If water is appearing inside the property, tell us where you’ve noticed it. That helps the pilot pay particular attention to the corresponding roof areas, junctions, flashings and drainage details while still capturing the wider context.
If the issue is visible externally, send us a photograph or simply describe what you have noticed. We can use that information to help focus the survey.

A careful look at the roof
See the Areas You Can’t See From the Ground
Our pilots capture wider context and close-up detail so you, your roofer or your surveyor have useful imagery to work from.
Depending on the roof and the problem, this can include
- Slipped, cracked or missing tiles and slates
- Flashings and roof junctions
- Chimneys and chimney details
- Valleys and parapets
- Gutters and drainage
- Flat roof surfaces and edges
- Visible storm or impact damage
- Extensions and changes in roof level
- Other areas of concern
Included
- Detailed 4K video and still imagery
- Close-up capture of areas of concern
- Wider roof imagery for context
- Skilled, experienced building-inspection capture
- Flight planning and restricted flight zone permissions
- Imagery through a simple link to view, download and share
Many roof problems have visible signs that can be captured clearly by drone. Some causes are concealed, however, and water can travel within a roof before appearing inside the property. Where the imagery alone cannot establish the cause, further investigation may be needed.

Get the Information You Need Before You Decide What to Do
Getting a clear view first can help you understand the visible problem before committing to access or repair work.

You can continue to view, download and share the imagery, so the same evidence can easily be used to discuss proposed repairs and obtain comparable quotes from more than one contractor or professional.
Many customers simply send the imagery to their own roofer or surveyor.
If you need additional advice, we can also arrange professional review through our partners, from practical roof-condition advice from an experienced roofing contractor to a more formal assessment from a chartered surveyor.
Earlier information, better maintenance
Spot Problems Earlier. Avoid Unnecessary Cost.
Small roof defects can become much more expensive if water ingress or deterioration is allowed to continue.
Clear imagery can help identify visible maintenance issues earlier, giving you the opportunity to deal with them before they develop into larger repairs. It can also provide a useful record of the wider roof condition so you can plan future maintenance rather than waiting for another problem to appear.
Before you arrange a survey
A Few Useful Things to Know
Can a drone survey find the cause of a leak?
A drone survey can identify visible defects and areas of concern that may be contributing to a leak, and gives your roofer or surveyor detailed evidence to work from. Some causes are concealed and water can travel within a roof, so further investigation may occasionally be needed.
What should I tell you before the survey?
Tell us what you have noticed and where the problem appears. If water is visible inside, the approximate room or location is particularly useful. You can also send photographs or information from a roofer or surveyor if you have them.
What areas of the roof can you inspect?
Our skilled and highly experienced pilots are used to capturing buildings systematically and getting close, useful detail from difficult roof areas. Using high-quality professional drones and detailed 4K video and still imagery, we can capture roof coverings, chimneys, flashings, valleys, parapets, gutters and drainage, flat roofs, extensions and other visible areas of concern, alongside wider imagery that gives your roofer or surveyor the context they need.
Do I need to attend?
Usually not. We can generally operate from the street, so there is normally no need for you to be present.
Do you need permission to fly?
We take care of the flight planning and any aviation permissions required for the survey, including restricted flight zones. If a particular location requires anything unusual, we’ll let you know.
How quickly can you arrange the survey?
We can often arrange residential surveys quickly, subject to weather, location and any required flight permissions. If the problem is urgent, tell us when you enquire and we’ll do our best to work around it.
What happens after I receive the imagery?
You can review and share the imagery with your roofer or surveyor, use it to discuss repairs and compare quotes, or ask us to arrange additional professional review if needed.
