CAA-Qualified Pilots · PDRA01‑27664 From terraced houses to the Houses of Parliament A city built in layers
From Social Housing to Landmark Buildings
Roof Hawk has carried out drone roof surveys across thousands of London properties, from houses, flats and managed blocks to commercial estates, churches, historic buildings and major landmarks.
Georgian terraces, Victorian streets, mansion blocks, social housing, historic landmarks and modern developments sit side by side across London. It is this architectural and social variety that we love about London, and part of what makes surveying the city so interesting.
Our work has taken us across streets and neighbourhoods throughout North, Central, West, South West, South East and East London, alongside larger and more complex projects including the Houses of Parliament and major Central London commercial buildings.

How it works
See the Areas You Can’t See From the Ground
A drone roof survey gives you a close, detailed view of the parts of a roof that are difficult to inspect from below.
One of our CAA-qualified pilots carefully captures the roof and any areas you want us to look at using high-quality professional drones. You receive clear 4K video and still images, ready to review and share.
No ladders or scaffolding simply to get a view, and no need for someone to risk damaging the roof by walking across it just to inspect it. We take care of the flight planning and permissions too, including restricted flight zones across London.
-

London drone survey questions
A Few Useful Things to Know
Which areas of London do you cover?
All of them. Roof Hawk carries out drone roof surveys in every London borough, from the City and Westminster out to Enfield, Havering, Bromley and Hillingdon.
In North London that means the N and NW postcodes, with Enfield (EN) and Harrow (HA). In the centre, the West End, Westminster and the City (W1, SW1, WC and EC). East London covers the E postcodes and out to Ilford (IG) and Romford (RM). South of the river we cover the SE and SW postcodes, with Croydon (CR), Bromley (BR), Bexley (DA), Kingston (KT), Sutton (SM) and Richmond and Twickenham (TW). In West London, the W postcodes, Hounslow (TW), and Southall, Hayes and Uxbridge (UB).
What types of buildings can you survey?
Roof Hawk surveys everything from individual houses and flats to managed blocks, social housing, offices, commercial buildings, historic and complex properties and large property portfolios.
Do I need to be at the property?
Usually not. For many surveys we can operate from the street or another suitable nearby position, so you do not necessarily need to be at the property when we attend.
Can you fly in Central London and other restricted airspace?
Yes. Roof Hawk has extensive experience operating across London and in complex airspace. Where NATS or other aviation permissions are required, we handle the flight planning and application process as part of the job.
How quickly can you arrange a survey?
We can arrange surveys quickly, subject to weather, location and any required flight permissions. If you are working to a particular deadline or the problem is urgent, tell us when you enquire and we’ll do our best to work around it.
“Great service: friendly, fast and professional. Overall, a very easy way to identify what needs to be done to maintain your roof.”
